In the year 1945, something terrible happens to a plane from the U.S. military. It starts to lose control and crashes really hard in an area called the German black forest, which is behind enemy lines. Major Johnson, who is in charge, decides to send a group of his bravest soldiers on a mission to save the important things that the plane was carrying. The group is led by two sergeants named Brewer and Walsh.

Once they arrive at the crash site, something very strange happens. They find dead Nazi soldiers hanging from trees, and there are other dead bodies as well. These bodies have weird symbols on them that look really old and magical. Suddenly, things start to go wrong. The compasses that the soldiers are using stop working, and their senses start to get all messed up. If someone wanders away from the group, something really bad happens to them. A powerful and supernatural force attacks them.
