In the movie, the city of Raccoon City, once prosperous due to the presence of the pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation, is now facing a rapid decline. The departure of the company has turned the town into a desolate place, where an underlying evil force is starting to grow. As this evil is unleashed, the residents of the city undergo a profound transformation, leaving only a small group of survivors to unravel the secrets of Umbrella Corporation and survive the night.
